Online education has become a huge business. I have personally done it a few times now. Software development certifications, database administration, prep exams for other types of technologies, and more. They are convenient and have really grown the correspondence type of programs. Problem is finding out who and where to take these courses from. Sites like Best Online Schools exist to aid in this. Ask around, compare, and read reviews.
