I recently recently a chipped credit card finally. I love the fact you need a pin to use your credit card now and there is a chip for added security. Just need to get all the stores on board now to support only using the chip if it is on there. The payment card industry has come a long ways in making sure there is financial security and regulations like pci compliance hosting to help guarantee the customers' information integrity.

FYI, if you are traveling in Europe, it is good to request a chip card from your bank and credit card companies as some machines there will only be usable with it.
