I have always had the benefit of a truck for hauling stuff around. With the sacrifice of mileage and inside room, I had a truck box and didn't think about hauling anything. I have been considering a few other types of vehicles now and it is funny how much hauling comes to mind. The great thing is that there are lots of alternatives for many different items now.

I may not be able to haul a fridge or something really, really tall in the back, but those more common items like bikes and snowboards can be done on basically any vehicle with hitch bike racks, roof top car carriers, or just a ski rack.
