Website Builder

Written by Neil Galloway

There are a ton of business ideas out there nowadays by a lot of industrious and innovative people. I often have conversations with individuals who have some very neat ideas and the passion to back them up. Often the problem is they lack any website knowledge and what it takes to get a site up and off the ground. They turn to other companies and seek out a knowledgeable ecommerce website builder to establish their presence on the web.

In can be a confusing time too. You need to understand the difference been your domain name, having a host, and then the application that actually is hosted. The application itself can get tricky depending on how much you want to offer.

The website design needs to factor in who your users are, what type of interface, do you want a blog, will you be selling actual material and needing to process financial transactions, do you want an RSS feed, email newsletters to a mailing list, and the list can go on. They need to explore some concepts and get some ideas for what they will need. Then throw on top search engine optimization (SEO).

My recommendation is to always do a bit of research, talk to some friends, and get a few quotes to understand what you are getting into and what you might need.
