We are moving into a new house within the next year and so lots of decisions on decorating and furniture choices are coming into play. We can use our existing furniture, buy new, or even look at refinishing/changing some of our existing pieces. With a more permanent residence we are definitely looking at having some nicer items and such. Don't need to have anything with designer upholstery fabric, but quality and functionality is definitely a concern.
