Truck ToolBoxes and Storage For Your Truck
I have owned a truck since I was 16 years old and having secure storage has always been a big plus.
My first one had the locked toolbox behind in the box and it was handiest feature. Especially since my pickup was a standard cab without much room behind the seat. A truck toolbox gave me all the room I needed for booster cables, washer fluid, jug of oil, sports equipment, tools, and other items.
The one hassle of a truck box is that it is insecure. You can't leave anything in there without the risk of it being stolen. A tool box provides you with the security that a lock and key can give you as well as the protection from rain and snow.
My second truck featured a lockable box cover that flipped up. This was ideal for keeping a lot of stuff secure and out of the elements, but I didn't like it quite as much because every time you needed something you had to open it up. The toolbox was still a bit better because it gave me the best of both worlds. Plus when I am hauling oversized items I don't have to take it off.
My third truck had the full canopy. Now as much as I loved it for the increased height of the box cover, it was still annoying. It had windows, so people could still see inside as to what I was carrying and secondly, it decreased my field of vision through the rear view mirror. I ended up taking it off.
This is a PayU2Blog posting for BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com. I cruised through their site and saw a number of products that would be awesome for a truck. Now that I have tried a truck toolbox, box cover, and canopy, I will definitely be looking at a toolbox for my next truck. I didn't realize there were as many other styles as there are as well.
