Addiction is a terrible thing to get caught up with. We all know the usual culprits like illicit drugs or alcohol. Unfortunately, there are other substances that have a cleaner appearance on the surface.

What I am talking about are prescription drugs. You can have a prescription drug addiction for a variety of reasons. Some causes could be:

• Continued use of pain killing drugs prescribed during injury recovery.
• Anti-depressants.
• Pain killers like Tylenol or Aspirin.

These types of addiction are often gradual and stem from prescription drug abuse that eventually leads to an addiction.
