Will Travel For Luggage
My wife and I have done a lot of traveling and definitely one of the most important decisions when you are leaving for somewhere is the luggage you take.
I am not a huge fan of checking luggage as my wife and I are usually taking a couple of connections and we figured out the cheapest possible route, which usually never means connecting with the same airline. Stop overs are the dangerous time for losing your luggage. That is when having 2 nice compact pieces of carry on luggage can really save you.
The thing with luggage is there are so many options too. Hard case or soft case, wheels or no wheels, lots of outside pockets or none, easy to spot colours or something neutral, and the list can go on.
I personally like the easy to spot colours so you can see it at the pick up carousel easily. Some weird green or a bright red. I have even seen them from the airplane as it was transported across the runway toward our plane.
How many pockets you have is also important. The more outside ones there are, the more convenient it is for someone to steal out of your bag, but it is incredibly convenient for organizing your belongings inside.
Either way, you need to figure out what suits your need the most and buy something dependable. Cheap is okay, but when you are on a two week trip and something busts near the beginning or is just annoying , it can just be frustrating for the rest of the trip.
