Computer Memory

I am overly biased towards computer memory. Having extra RAM is one of the best performance boosters for a system. You can have more application windows open, there is less swapping to the hard drive, and ultimately the computer can spend more time working then waiting.

This is why I will always buy more RAM before I would purchase a processor some other device. Some will argue, it is just my preference though. Nowadays, the prices have really dropped and you can buy it on-line all over the place. If you want something for your MAC or IBM memory, it is all available. A lot of the sites have made it easy as well. You can pick your model number, empty slots, and other options to make sure you get what will work with good certainty.
