Business swag has become a huge industry. I was recently at the Society of Petroleum Engineer's Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in Anaheim, California. The amount of swag being given away was unbelievable. It wasn't just custom pens or yo-yo's, but I had clip on lights for reading books and stereo headphones offered to me.

Swag is a funny industry as it seems like you are bribing people to look at your products or services, but it has been proven to have a lasting affect on potential customers. Some trinket or item with your logo on it can leave a lasting impression. When your service is needed, your name might be first thought of.
