Vermilion Moon - Photo Of The Day

Vermilion Moon

This was taken on my parents' farm just outside of Vermilion, Alberta, Canada in the winter around February of 2004. It was a neat picture of the moon rising up from behind the hills to the east or our home. It definitely gives a sense of the cold as well. I took this photo with my Canon S50 and have taken it on trips to show fellow travelers where I am from.
