As the baby boomers are getting older there has been a large push for vacation property and retirement facilities for them. It has been interesting to see them still staying independent for the most part and not letting themselves be held back.

With the strong home market of the last few years, we have seen a lot of vacation property purchased and being set up with the elderly in mind. Everything from stair lifts in two story home to homes that have master bedrooms on both ground and second level to cater to those aging who might have their needs change. Setting up your house with these things in mind can be a real advantage down the road.
