Furnishing your house is a big deal. I never understood being house poor until we moved into our own place and it was only a thousand square feet.

Trying to buy home furniture takes time and a bit of patience. You have to figure out your rooms, prioritize, decide what quality you are going to go with, and whether or not this item is a "keep for the rest of your life" or make do with until you want something else.

Everything matters and the best option is to just compare, compare, and compare.
