Often the most expensive part of a trip will be your accommodation. Unless you are traveling a long distance and rack up the price in airline tickets, you will be shelling out for hotels and food and it is every day you are gone that it adds up. Scoping out hotels and comparing on-line is probably your best option.

My wife and I were in New York not so long ago and we managed to find hotels that were $40 cheaper a night and up. Over a week that is going to save over $280. That is a huge amount of money.

Hit the internet and compare, compare, compare. Just type in your searches like Florida hotels or south beach fl hotels to find whatever it is you are looking for.
