My next dentist appointment is coming up. That is one expense that seems to be ridiculously expensive. Unless you are on some sort of insurance plan, you will be paying a lot of money for even the most basic checkup. If you can find any dental discounts or cheaper alternatives for different procedures, then it is well worth it.

My regular appointments are almost alway over $300 for the typical work. Not that I think it is a rip-off. Running a business like that is very expensive and the employees are all well educated and so demand a good salary.
