Controlling Your Appetite and Calories
I have been on a fitness kick lately. Exercise and watching what I eat. I find the biggest problem is controlling the calories I take in. This is both the overall quantity of them and in what form they are (carbohydrates, protein, fat). One of the hardest things is wanting to control that late night snack when you have some hunger pangs.
One of my favorite appetite suppressants is some low calorie snacks. Pickles are really low in calories, but can satisfy the hunger before you go to bed. I have also been eating some popcorn without the butter. Just sprinkle a little water on them so the spice sticks to it or even just keep small bits of popcorn in a little dish with spice and scoop up the spice with each mouthful of popcorn you eat. Probably not the healthiest in terms of salt, but it at least curbs the actual calories your body is processing.
